Join CERC Today at Open House

The annual Environmental and Sustainable Development Programs Open House is going on today, Monday, Oct. 24, from 4-7 p.m. in the Rotunda of Low Library on Columbia University’s Morningside campus (116th and Broadway).

CERC will be highlighting its education programs, including The Summer Ecosystem Experiences for Undergraduates (SEE-U) program, Certificate in Conservation and Environmental Sustainability, and The Inquire Institute: A Program for Integrated Graduate Field Studies.

You can also learn about the nearly 30 degree and non-degree offerings Columbia has related to the environment and sustainable development. The following schools will be showcasing full and part time programs: Columbia College School of General Studies, SIPA, Mailman school of Public Health, Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, School of Continuing Education and Barnard College.

This event will provide you with the opportunity to meet with representatives from each of these programs. We encourage you to spread the word about this Open House to friends and colleagues who might be interested in our academic programs.

AGU25, the premier Earth and space science conference, takes place December 15-19, 2025 in New Orleans, Louisiana. This year’s theme—Where Science Connects Us—puts in focus how science depends on connection, from the lab to the field to the ballot box. Once again, Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory and Columbia Climate School scientists, experts, students, and educators are playing an active role, sharing our research and helping shape the future of our planet. #AGU25 Learn More
