I do not doubt Mr. Sachs’ good intentions. Having read his “End to Poverty” gave me a slightly bitter taste in the mouth. He adheres too strongly to Anglosaxon capitalism to truely do something that works fot the poor countries. Nevertheless the prize is deserved for his efforts.

One of the greatest economists and mentors of all times… Peacemaker, humanist, brave, compassionate … I guess Dr. Sachs doesn’t need the Nobel Peace Prize. He is a real hunter… who hunted millions of hearts in the planet!

This man deserves the Nobel Peace Price for everything he’s done to alleviate the suffering of the poor. Truly, he is under-appreciated in his time.
