Earth Institute and SDSN Director Jeffrey Sachs, who is a member of the CIRSD board, underlined that “the expertise of the CIRSD board and senior staff in global diplomacy will complement the sustainable development expertise of the Earth Institute and the SDSN Leadership Council and SDSN global network. This new advisory group will therefore greatly advance the work of the EI and the UN SDSN in support of the new sustainable development agenda now being negotiated at the United Nations.”
