ConEdison Renews Corporate Circle Membership

The Earth Institute is pleased to announce that Con Edison has renewed its membership as a Sustaining Member of the Corporate Circle. Through their generous gift of $25,000, Con Edison will continue to support The Earth Institute in its central goals of mobilizing the sciences, education and public policy to achieve environmental and economic sustainability in New York and elsewhere.

With the recognition that global warming is a pressing concern, Con Edison is working to involve all sectors of the economy to mitigate this change. Here in New York City, Con Edison is investing in new energy infrastructure and looking at sustainable development more holistically to promote the area’s stability, well-being and growth. Through their EnergyNY Plan, Con Edison is working to influence local and global energy sustainability by promoting public participation in conservation efforts.

The Corporate Circle allows businesses from all sectors to engage in mutually beneficial relationships that further sustainable development objectives.  By renewing its membership with the Earth Institute Corporate Circle, ConEdision continues to have extensive access of the Earth Institute’s expertise and access to high level discussions about sustainable development strategy. As a valued partner, ConEdison will also be able to contribute their unique experience and expertise to group dialogue about best private sector sustainable development practices.

AGU25, the premier Earth and space science conference, takes place December 15-19, 2025 in New Orleans, Louisiana. This year’s theme—Where Science Connects Us—puts in focus how science depends on connection, from the lab to the field to the ballot box. Once again, Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory and Columbia Climate School scientists, experts, students, and educators are playing an active role, sharing our research and helping shape the future of our planet. #AGU25 Learn More
