The award recognizes her pioneering work in modeling the impact of climate change on food production worldwide.
Between October 12 and 16, more than 1,000 people gathered online to discuss the challenges and opportunities for making our food system more resilient.

Researchers are investigating if the projected increase in climate change-generated droughts, floods, heat waves and other intense short-term occurrences will result in increased shocks that could jeopardize food security worldwide.
