We’re talking to experts around the Earth Institute about what they’re working on, what they would like people to know about it, and what inspired them to go into their field.

In this first in the video series, we talk to Radley Horton, an associate research scientist at the Center for Climate Systems Research. One thing he studies is what he calls “tail risk”—the possibility that the models we use to predict climate behavior may be missing some influence that could alter the outcomes, possibly for the worse.
